Gate Timings & Curfew Regulations

  • Main entrance gates close at 10:00 PM on weekdays and 10:30 PM on weekends.
  • Biometric/QR attendance scan at the reception desk between 09:00 PM and 09:30 PM is mandatory.
  • Night-out or weekend leaves require prior digital approval via the Hostel Portal 24 hours in advance.
  • Unexcused late entry will be logged and reported to the batch trainer and hostel warden.

Room Maintenance & Energy Conservation

  • Trainees must maintain room cleanliness and study desk order. Daily waste must be deposited in corridor bins.
  • High-wattage electrical appliances (electric heaters, induction cooktops, high-power irons) are strictly prohibited in rooms.
  • Lights, fans, and study lamps must be switched off before leaving the room.
  • Fortnightly cleanliness inspections are conducted by the Chief Warden and Hostel Committee.

Dining Hall & Mess Guidelines

  • Mess timings: Breakfast (07:30 - 09:00 AM), Lunch (12:30 - 02:00 PM), Dinner (07:30 - 09:30 PM).
  • Mess utensils and food trays must not be taken into dorm rooms (except under medical prescription).
  • Clean trays and cutlery must be deposited at the dish collection counter after dining.
  • Special dietary requests (vegetarian, jain, allergies) can be registered with the Mess Caretaker.

Zero-Tolerance Anti-Ragging & Code of Conduct

  • NCCT enforces a strict Zero-Tolerance Anti-Ragging Policy as per Supreme Court & UGC/Ministry guidelines.
  • Possession or consumption of alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or narcotic substances is strictly forbidden and results in immediate expulsion.
  • Maintain silence and decorum during designated study hours (10:00 PM – 06:00 AM).
  • Trainees are responsible for any damage or defacement of hostel property and furniture.

Visitor & Day Scholar Policy

  • External visitors and day scholars are permitted only in the ground-floor Visitor Lounge between 04:00 PM and 07:00 PM.
  • Non-residents are strictly prohibited from entering trainee residential wings or dorm rooms.
  • Overnight stay for parents/guardians requires written clearance from the Hostel Superintendent and carries guest room charges.

Safety, Health & Emergency Protocols

  • 24/7 First Aid and medical assistance available at the Resident Warden's office (Room G-04).
  • Campus Medical Officer and emergency ambulance service: Call Ext. 108 or +91 98765 43210.
  • Fire extinguishers and emergency evacuation maps are posted on each floor staircase landing.
